Studio Artist provides a wide range of different and unique kaleidoscopic effects that extend beyond the limited range of typical kaleidoscopic effects seen in other digital effects programs. The image above shows off an inverse kaleidoscopic effect (something unique to Studio Artist). This post will take a look at some of the other kaleidoscopic effects you can create in Studio Artist 4 that go beyond the norm.
The inverse kaleidoscopic effect shown above was created with a simple 1 processor MSG effects shown below. Note that it’s based on the use of the 3CKaleidoInv processor, and the IO (input-output) routing shown is a simple approach that takes the 3 color input image streams for the MSG effect (RSrc,GSrc,BSrc) as inputs to the processor, and then outputs it’s effected imagery to the 3 output image streams associated with the MSG effect (ROut,GOut,BOut).
